Logo chosen to spotlight Fries film festival - Press Release From The Gazette

FRIES - Kate Irwin of Grayson County submitted the winning logo for the Top Ten Films in America logo contest.
Judging was a tough call, said festival organizer Charles Howard Thomas.
Good logo designs were submitted, including standout entries from Danny Redd and Tom Bauer.
Grayson County High School students Christina Privett, John Halsey and Josh Osborne also submitted entries.
Marie Isom, one of the contest judges and co-owner of the Back Porch Gallery, also spoke favorably about the entries that came from about 10 people. Several submitted more than one idea.

In historical mountain theaters in the BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS of Virginia in April, the absolute best films in America will be showcased in the following categories: DOCUMENTARIES SHORTS FEATURES There will also be a special Category for FOREIGN FILMS Unlike other film festivals which concentrate on direction, cinematography, and special effects, our film festival will emphasize the "STORY."
There will be an acting competition; the winner of which will have the opportunity to be signed by THE BROCK AGENCY for theatrical and modeling representation.
